MONTADORA AUDIOVISUAL
To edit, for me, is to add intention and time to the images, the sound and the movement of the raw material. It is subtracting until you reach discourse. And, above all, it is to be willing to be affected by the process and the film, and to look at the world through the eyes of the one who is directing it.

Autobiographical documentary by a mother who follows the gender transition of her teenage son: between 2016 and 2019 she interviews him addressing the conflicts, certainties and uncertainties that pervade him in a profound search for his identity. At the meantime, she too goes through a process of transformation that forces her to break old paradigms, face fears, and dismantle prejudices.
Thanatos
Dir.: Luiza Fagá, 8', 2019
diretor, DOP and editor
"The wings of wax, flying, to dream yourself a bird / Deliriums permitted by Greek ethics / Forbidden is the sun / The morality of the myth of Icarus is prudence."
Icarus, Dutch artist Bas Jan Ader, and the Knightscope K5 robot seem to have one thing in common: imprudence. This experimental piece is about our life-and-death impulse. The narrative, based on anecdotes as profound as they are mundane, combines found-footage and original material.
Strong Feather

Documentary-poem about women's bodies. In scene, four artists who challenge the standards, subvert the norms and poetize their bodies in acts of resistance and transgression.
Hilda Hilst
Dir.: Luiza Fagá, 8', 2015

"My House is the guardian of my body / And the protector of all my ardors". This video installation, created for the exhibition Ocupação Hilda Hilst (Itaú Cultural), blends archival material accumulated over the years by writer Mora Fuentes, a friend of Hilda's who lived with her at Casa do Sol, and original images produced in this same house, sacred to the author and so present in her work.
